Katsu Curry Powder

Katsu curry powder is a fragrant Japanese-style spice blend with warm, savoury notes, gentle sweetness, and mild heat. Perfect for creating rich katsu curry sauces, it adds depth and comforting flavour to breaded chicken, vegetables, rice dishes, and stews.

Sweat an onion, garlic, an apple & a carrot in oil, add 1 tspn of the spice mix per person. Blend until smooth with water or stock. Add ketchup, honey and soy sauce to taste. Pour over panko breaded fried chicken or aubergine & sweet potato. Serve with rice.
