Kala Namak Ground

This black salt rock turns bright pink when ground and is highly sulphurous, given it its distinct taste. It is commonly used throughout Asia to flavor curries and other dishes, as well as a mild digestive. Added to tofu, it is often used to mimic the taste of scrambled eggs.
