BERBERE ETHIOPIAN "WAT" SEASONING

A fiery mixture used in Ethiopia & Eritrea. It is used to flavour stews (called Wats) of meat, vegetable, lentils, & also to coat foods to be fried or grilled. Use 1 tspn per pers. when using it in stews, or a light dusting on foods to be grilled or fried.

 

Ingredients: Coriander, cardamom, allspice, cumin, fenugreek, cloves, cinnamon, ajowan, pepper, ginger, chili
